TEKsystems are looking to onboard a team of OpenShift Engineers to work on a large technology migration for a Tier-1 Banking client. The role is a long-term project running between 12-24 months, working with an existing product management team on Operational Observability as part of this migration.
Responsibilities
- OpenShift virtualization (KubeVirt) SME-level experience, including VM lifecycle management, migration from vSphere, and production operations.
- Platform engineering on OpenShift, with GitOps-driven operations, operator lifecycle management, and enterprise-grade governance.
- Deep infrastructure troubleshooting across storage, networking, and performance for VM-based workloads on OpenShift.
- Production-grade OpenShift virtualization (KubeVirt) experience, including VM lifecycle, migration from vSphere, and performance-aware operations.
- Platform engineering capability on OpenShift, with GitOps-led operations, operator lifecycle management, and enterprise governance.
- Infrastructure-level troubleshooting and stakeholder management, with the ability to diagnose cross-layer issues and lead incident resolution with confidence.
