As a Buyer with Associated Security Solutions, you will shape a brand-new role within a growing purchasing function. You will make a visible impact by influencing the buying strategy across this multi-site security manufacturing and services group.
Your role as Buyer will involve:
- Leading sourcing activities across categories including Energy, Technology, Consumables, Materials, Marketing, Professional Services, Property, Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Driving cost-saving initiatives and identifying opportunities for supplier consolidation.
- Managing supplier relationships and supporting contract negotiation and contract database updates.
- Extracting and analysing purchasing data to identify value-driven improvements.
- Overseeing GNFR purchasing activity, raising POs and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven indirect procurement experience, ideally within IT, Technology or Professional Services categories.
- A strong background in tendering, supplier selection and negotiation.
- Knowledge of contract law and commercial agreements.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business areas.
- Willingness to travel to group sites and supplier premises as required.
