At the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, we're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team. Working with outstanding local seafood in a stunning coastal setting, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and flair.

Role

  • Pay: £31,200 - £32,240 per annum (depending on experience) ... paid weekly
  • Tips: £2.00 per hour on average (shared across the restaurant team)
  • Contract: Permanent, full time (40 hours) ... temporary position also available
  • Shifts: Monday to Sunday (rota basis) ... no late evenings - no split shifts - no night shifts
  • Accommodation: Shared, subsidised accommodation available
  • Logistics: Due to location and shift patterns, own transport is essential

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking ownership of your section and delivering high‑quality dishes
  • Preparing and cooking fresh, locally sourced fish and seafood daily
  • Supporting smooth and efficient kitchen service
  • Maintaining exceptional food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Contributing ideas for menu development and seasonal specials
  • Playing a key role in fostering a positive, supportive kitchen culture

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
  • Confidence working with fish and seafood
  • A genuine passion for cooking and developing your skills
  • Strong organisation skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A reliable, team‑focused attitude with great attention to detail
