Location: Low Street, Buckie

Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm / finish

Type: Full-time, permanent

Pay:

  • Starting rate: £13.78 per hour
  • Increases to £14.42 per hour after successful completion of probation
  • Overtime paid at:
    • £20.67 per hour while on the starting rate
    • £21.63 per hour after probation

Before our salmon is smoked, prepared and transformed into the high-quality products enjoyed by customers across the UK and beyond, it passes through our Primary Processing team. We're looking for reliable, hardworking people to join our team in Buckie. This is a physically active, hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in preparing fresh salmon for the next stage of production.

You don't need previous seafood or factory experience. If you're dependable, willing to learn and enjoy practical work, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Processing fresh salmon as part of the primary production operation.
  • Checking fillets, using knives and specialist tools.
  • Handling products safely and efficiently as they move through the production process.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, food safety and hygiene.
  • Working with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.

  • Previous experience in seafood processing, food production or manufacturing is welcome but not essential. Full training will be provided.
