Warehouse & Yard Supervisor Associated Pipeline Products Lisburn, Co. Antrim | Salary negotiable, depending on experience | Full-time, Permanent The Company Associated Pipeline Products has been a specialist supplier to the pressure pipeline and utilities industry for over 33 years, providing pipework, valves, fittings and civils products across Ireland and the UK. We're a growing business and we're looking for someone to help take charge of the day-to-day running of our yard and warehouse. The Role Reporting to our Senior Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse & Yard Supervisor will take day-to-day ownership of the warehouse and yard at our Lisburn site. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for running the floor, organising the yard and leading a small team. Key Responsibilities Managing day-to-day warehouse operations goods in, goods out, picking, packing, loading, dispatch and trade counter. Organising and maintaining the yard: stock layout, locations and safe handling of heavy and awkward product Supervising a small team of warehouse operatives allocating daily work, setting priorities and keeping standards high Training, developing and motivating junior team members Maintaining stock accuracy through regular counts and system updates Liaising with the sales team to make sure customer orders go out complete and on time Ensuring full compliance with health and safety procedures, including housekeeping, PPE and equipment checks Deputising for the Senior Warehouse Manager as required Essential Criteria Previous experience in a warehouse, yard or stores environment Experience supervising, leading or mentoring a team, or clear readiness to step into a leadership role Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload Competent IT skills stock management systems, email and Microsoft Excel Confident communicator, comfortable holding a team to standard Desirable Criteria Experience within builders' merchants, steel or pipe stockholding, or a similar distribution environment Product knowledge of pipework, valves or associated fittings Valid counterbalance forklift licence training provided for the right candidate Manual handling or IOSH/health and safety certification Experience implementing or improving warehouse layout and stock location systems What We Offer Salary negotiable, depending on experience Use of Company Van Monday to Friday, 7:30am 5:00pm | 40-hour week 32 days annual leave (24 days plus 8 statutory) Company pension scheme Plenty of training and development opportunities, with ongoing investment in our team A growing business with investment being made in our premises and operation TPBN1_NI
