Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the EMEA based team.
- Responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of aviation fuel proposals to Sales and Sales Leadership.
- Deep understanding of fuel supply chains.
- Work closely with our Supply, Logistics, and Tax teams to ensure proper supply chain build and costing.
- Interact with our Awards team (located in Miami HQ) to ensure deal setups and accuracy.
- Develop talent through training in AEG’s processes, as well as macro and micro aspects of the global supply chain.
- Oversee the aggregation and construction of tender responses and RFPs, ensuring high-quality, competitive, and client-focused deliverables.
- Drive the aggregation of bid response feedback and develop strategic recommendations for margin improvement and bid strategies, delivering insights to sales and supply leadership.
- Collaborate with global tender teams (in particular Miami HQ Office) to streamline and redesign business processes and standards, aiming to improve AEG’s overall customer experience.
- Train and educate team members on the aviation fuels market to enhance their expertise and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in aviation fuel management and leading teams.
- Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within supply chain or business intelligence, preferably in the aviation fuels industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams across multiple geographic locations.
- Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics and the ability to manage complex projects and initiatives.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and across commercial operations/sales teams to drive business results.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment and be detail oriented.
