We're expanding our operations and are looking for a hands-on, reliable Stores Assistant to be a key player in our busy logistics and warehouse team.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Stores Assistant at ACT, you'll help keep our stock and equipment moving efficiently and safely. You'll be responsible for handling goods in and out, managing collections and deliveries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Booking goods and customer equipment in and out accurately
Preparing and packaging items for safe shipment
Performing regular stock checks and updating records
Coordinating collections and deliveries to and from clients and suppliers
Planning delivery routes and schedules
Maintaining company vehicles to a high standard (clean, safe, and road-ready)
Representing ACT professionally in appearance and conduct during all interactions
Adhering to all health and safety protocols, including the use of PPE
Supporting the team with any additional duties or training as required
Note: Flexibility is key - occasional work outside normal hours may be required.
What We're Looking For:
We're after someone dependable, proactive, and keen to play a vital role in a close-knit, supportive team. Ideally, you'll bring:
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics role (especially with shipping/receiving)
Solid IT skills for updating stock systems and delivery logs
A full UK driving licence (essential)
Confidence working independently and as part of a team
A friendly, communicative approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
