Duration: 2 Months (Summer Placement)
Join our team at ABP in King's Lynn as a Summer Silo Operative and play a key role in the grain handling process during the busy harvest season.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sample and test Agri bulk products to customer requirements using scientific laboratory equipment.
- Log and report test results accurately.
- Manage and maintain stock control systems to meet operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with AIC procedures and regulations.
- Liaise with customers daily to implement their storage and quality requirements.
- Support store management for customer grain.
- Report any defects, unsafe practices, or damages promptly to the Operations Manager.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation, Risk Assessments, and ABP policies.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, colleagues, and lorry drivers.
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required by the line manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- A reliable and detail-oriented individual.
- Good communication and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (37.5 hours/week)
Break: 30-minute unpaid break daily.
