About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Maintenance Fitter to join our Engineering team at the Port of Hull, playing a vital role in keeping port operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance and repair work in line with safe systems of work and risk assessments
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergency situations during normal and out‑of‑hours operations
  • Support the identification of future maintenance and repair requirements
  • Work alongside third‑party contractors as required
  • Accurately complete work orders and maintain asset history records
  • Assist with reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work

Qualifications
