We are looking for a Resource Coordinator to support the day-to-day planning and coordination within a busy operational environment. The role focuses on resource planning, absence management, onboarding processes, and ensuring employees are supported in line with company procedures and contractual agreements. This position is being offered as a 13-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.

Working Hours

The role is based on a Monday to Friday working pattern, covering 40 hours per week from 08:00am to 16:00pm, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the daily and strategic planning activities within the IP department.
  • Assist in maximising operational resource availability across the Humber.
  • Manage and monitor employee absences, ensuring processes and procedures are followed correctly.
  • Conduct return-to-work meetings and support difficult or sensitive conversations with professionalism and empathy.
  • Coordinate occupational health appointments and medical bookings.
  • Support onboarding and leavers processes from start to finish.
  • Maintain accurate data input and employee records.
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide administrative support across operational resource planning.
  • Help guide employees in line with contractual agreements and company policies.

  • Experience dealing with absence management or employee relations would be advantageous.
  • Mental health awareness or training would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience within coordination, planning, HR, or operational support roles is desirable.
