As part of our Ready For Tomorrow strategy, we\'ve created a new role in the Humber as a HV Technician to support with delivering a more positive environmental impact and supporting our investment in the UKs clean energy transition. The role will play a key role in supporting maintenance and improvement works on our private HV Network of 143 Substations across our 4 sites. We\'re keen to see applications from experienced Industrial Electricial Technicians who have a strong desire to build on their existing experience with 3-phase power, fault finding and maintenance works and are looking to develop into a High Voltage specialism - therefore a HV certification is not essential, but is theoretical understanding and prior experience is ideal.

- Carry out the role of High Voltage Authorised Person (AP) as defined within the Group Electrical Safety Rules.
- To train, develop High Voltage working skills in line with our safe working practises.
- Keep up to date with all safety regulations and new technical innovations to provide advice and support to the Engineering Department.
- Assist with providing expert guidance and support for day-to-day electrical problems
- Identify and prepare cost estimates for both present and future electrical engineering works.
- Liaise with property and commercial teams to assist in developing engineering solutions from initial feasibility through to delivery.
- Diagnose faults (first line) and solve problems and equipment
- Qualified to a minimum of HNC level with additional personal development
- Knowledge of multi-site/multi-tenanted private electrical networks ideally from a DNO or client side background
- High level of safety awareness
- Computer skills (Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Full Driving licence
- Strong desire for career growth and progression with a particular interest around High Voltage
- Ideally certified to AP level
