Job description: Where are you based? Port of Garston Associated British Ports, Port Training Services (Blyth block release required). How long does it take? Typically, 12-18 months (including End Point Assessment) 2-year FTC contract.

What is it all about? This apprenticeship offers a hands-on opportunity to build a career in port operations. You'll gain experience across a range of activities including cargo handling, plant and equipment use, and supporting safe, efficient port operations. You will work towards the EAL Level 2 NVQ in Port Operations, developing both the practical skills and knowledge needed to operate safely and effectively within a busy port environment. This role is based in a busy operational port environment. You will be working around heavy machinery, vessels and cargo, so a strong focus on health and safety is essential.
