As ABP continues the journey of investing in and developing our ABP Marinas, which forms part of the Beacon Marina Collection, we are looking to recruit a Marina Administrator to join our small and dedicated team. We are looking for someone to assist in ensuring we offer our leisure and commercial customers an excellent experience during their stay with us.
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Customer Service: Provide five-star service to marina customers in person, via telephone, and email.
- Invoicing: Manage invoicing for berthing, boat yard services, fuel, and gas, and keep the in-house berthing system updated.
- Event Organization: Plan and support events for berth holders.
- Coordination with Sailing Clubs: Arrange berthing requirements for visiting sailing clubs with guidance from the Marina Supervisor.
- Social Media Management: Help keep the marina's social media page updated with accurate information.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Marina Manager with organizing meetings and scheduling appointments.
- Marina Berth Checks: Conduct berth checks and engage with the public.
- Tenant Relations: Work closely with marina tenants to meet their needs and expectations.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Administrative experience: Essential.
- Driving License: There is a requirement to show people around the Marina and go onto the pontoons, fuelling for customers, go on the workboat in an emergency and work in an operational area with plant daily.
- Email proficiency: Ability to send and manage emails effectively.
- Software skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Positive demeanor: Upbeat personality, especially in front-of-house roles.
- Customer interaction: Experience dealing with customers face-to-face.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break with occasional weekends on a rota basis.
