Overview of role
Location: Lincoln
To deliver and collect products from customers, suppliers and other organisations and locations, as required by the business.
Key Accountabilities
- To comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers
- To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
- To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency
- To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures, e.g. picking from bulk order load, order adjustment, health and safety
- To comply with Company standards for customer service
- To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
- To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets, pallets, store returns and buffer stock.
- To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
- To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
