Overview of role
Location: West Bromwich
In this role you will facilitate and coach team performance, encouraging development of individuals and teams through clear and inspirational leadership. Working through others, achieving high levels of targeted performance, customer satisfaction and quality standards; this will be founded on a culture of continuous improvement, development and learning. It is expected that the jobholder will create an environment where critical thinking and constructive challenging is the norm.
Key Accountabilities
- Actively engage individuals and teams in the Safety First culture, managing people effectively through robust leadership skills and in compliance with AB internal policies and procedures.
- To lead and facilitate individuals and teams to deliver optimal levels of performance on cost, resource, service requirements.
- To drive product quality through all systems available and people.
- To contribute to the optimization of a production plan, operating the production plant in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
- Ensure that development and training needs of individuals are consistently applied to create a proactive environment of learning through relevant documentation (learning logs).
- To actively encourage individuals and teams to continuously challenge and improve manufacturing processes.
- To optimise work cross-functionally providing insight and control over the bakery infrastructure.
The Right Person
Essential
- At least 3 Years experience within a FMCG environment with Proven leadership and management experience.
- Be able to demonstrate people and performance experience.
Advantageous
- Preferably be a graduate in a Manufacturing related discipline or equivalent.
