We have a unique, exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner to work across our diverse international supply chain, on a 12 months fixed term basis, where you will manage several complex global/domestic suppliers, ensuring stock replenishment is executed effectively in-line with agreed WC stock targets. You will provide support to the Planning Manager in dealing/managing the day-to-day tasks carried out across the Planning Team and provide ERP support across wider Planning functions, ensuring new system functionality is embedded.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and track short & long-term supply plans to ensure stock availability while meeting inventory targets.
- Identify and report risks in relation to slow-moving or obsolete stock, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Lead and facilitate specific continuous improvement/cost-saving initiatives across Supply Chain, implementing process improvements & best practices.
- Evaluating supplier performance and constraints, driving improvements, and overseeing stock builds (promotional and/or NPD launches) as required.
- Contribute to Supply Review process step and output within S&OP cycle, interfacing with internal stakeholders across several channels and working with global suppliers and other external partners to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Create and monitor periodical reporting across wider Planning function, presenting data at key monthly meetings within the overall S&OP process. This will include long-term inventory projections, FX forecast based on projected spend & availability reporting on key products.
- Support with continued focus on optimisation of current ERP system, playing a key part in regular testing, identifying areas to leverage system functionality and training out new functionality as part of regular updates/releases.
The Right Person
The successful candidate will need to have a wealth of supply chain and planning knowledge, plus the experience and ability to demonstrate a track record of achieving targets, using KPI’s and improving processes within a planning function, as well as the gravitas and ability to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally. You will have a strong commercial understanding and an excellent analytical and excel skill set, with the clear ability to produce accurate information, interpret data, draw conclusions, and give insight which will add value. Great interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, together with a strong understanding of S&OP & IBP processes, are also essential attributes for this role.
