The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

As a key member of our team, you will manage a range of direct and indirect customers, with the primary focus of growing our business through increased distribution and rates of sale of our brands. You will be responsible for achieving volume and financial targets and generating new business as part of our end-to-end sales strategy. Your role is to build influential relationships with customers to maximise range, visibility and promotional implementation for our existing products as well as driving listings of new products (sometimes in new markets). You will work in collaboration with the Senior Customer Manager and other Customer Managers to drive overall sales in this channel.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute territory and account plans based on customer insight and market trends. Includes negotiations with customers to deliver value.
  • Drive growth by increasing distribution, share and visibility across customers.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline.
  • Manage customer relationships through regular, structured field visits.
  • Deliver high standards of in-store execution and campaign activation.
  • Contribute accurate and timely input into forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Report on performance and continuously optimise territory plans.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver aligned commercial objectives.
  • Manage customer orders through D365/CS.
  • Ensure all customer actions and agreements are completed.

The Right Person

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven selling instinct and demonstrable sales experience within the FMCG or South Asian channel, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills. Ideally, your background will be in this market, with experience of influencing a wide range of customers being very desirable. Alongside your ability to match your personal influence and ability to build winning relationships across your customer base, you will also have a track record of “making things happen” in your career to date. A clean full UK driving license is a key requirement.
