Are you an experienced Packaging Technologist with a background in FMCG and a passion for delivering innovative, sustainable, and commercially successful packaging solutions? We're looking for a talented Packaging Technologist to join a fast-paced and growing business, playing a key role in the development, optimisation and delivery of packaging projects across a diverse product portfolio. Working closely with NPD, Technical, Operations, Procurement and Marketing teams, you'll ensure packaging solutions meet quality, cost, sustainability and performance requirements while delivering an excellent consumer experience. Key Responsibilities * Lead packaging development projects from concept through to launch * Develop innovative packaging solutions that align with brand, customer and consumer requirements * Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, efficiency and sustainability * Conduct packaging trials and validation activities to ensure successful implementation * Work closely with suppliers to source and develop new packaging materials and formats * Manage packaging specifications and technical documentation * Ensure compliance with relevant packaging legislation and industry standards * Support cost-saving and value engineering projects * Investigate packaging-related issues and implement corrective actions where required * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches About You * Experience in a Packaging Technologist role within FMCG, food manufacturing, consumer goods or retail products * Strong understanding of packaging materials, formats and manufacturing processes * Experience managing packaging development projects from concept to launch * Knowledge of packaging compliance, testing and validation requirements * Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills * Commercially aware with an understanding of cost, performance and sustainability considerations * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities * Passion for innovation and continuous improvement What's on Offer? * Opportunity to work with well-known products and brands * A varied and fast-paced environment with genuine autonomy * Exposure to exciting innovation and sustainability projects * Competitive salary and benefits package * Career development opportunities within a growing business If you're a Packaging Technologist looking to join an innovative FMCG business where you can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.
