We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Manager to join our team and lead key retailer relationships across our branded and own-label portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong food industry experience and a proven track record managing and growing accounts with Ocado, Waitrose, Tesco or Sainsbury’s. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping customer strategy, driving profitable growth, and delivering best-in-class joint business plans. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own and manage day-to-day relationships with major UK retailers, including Ocado, Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s
  • Lead customer strategy, joint business planning and category growth initiatives
  • Deliver commercial targets across revenue, margin, promotional performance and forecast accuracy
  • Work cross-functionally with NPD, Category, Supply Chain and Technical to deliver customer projects
  • Manage product launches, range reviews and category development activity
  • Analyse performance data, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional plans, terms and contracts
  • Support long-term strategic planning and customer-specific innovation pipelines
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, demand planning and stock management
  • Represent the business in customer meetings, presentations and strategic reviews

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience within food manufacturing or FMCG
  • Proven track record managing accounts with Ocado, Waitrose, Tesco or Sainsbury’s
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills
