We’re supporting a well‑established, people‑centric organisation seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Manager to act as the strategic number two to the Head of Talent & Development. If you’re passionate about designing fresh, scalable learning solutions and leading a high‑performing team, this could be the perfect next step.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify capability gaps and translate them into targeted, high‑impact learning interventions
- Maintain a strong presence across the business to gather insight, assess learning impact and drive continuous improvement
- Oversee the design and delivery of blended learning programmes, ensuring innovation, consistency and quality
- Continuously evolve induction and onboarding experiences to keep them modern, engaging and commercially balanced
- Lead the development of bespoke programmes that support succession planning and talent growth
- Work closely with the Digital Learning Design Manager to shape digital learning solutions aligned to business needs
- Collaborate on company‑wide talent initiatives, including high‑potential development and leadership capability building
- Drive the apprenticeship strategy, ensuring quality delivery, compliance and meaningful integration into teams
- Use data, insights and MI to track progress, measure ROI and inform decision‑making
- Lead, coach and inspire an L&D team to adopt future‑focused, innovative ways of working
