Are you an electrically qualified engineer looking for a varied days-based position with a strong focus on facilities, compliance and site maintenance? We're looking for an Electrical Facilities Engineer to help maintain the safe, efficient and compliant operation of a busy Head Office and Distribution Centre environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad role, combining hands-on maintenance, contractor management and compliance activities. Working closely with the Engineering team, you'll play a key role in ensuring site infrastructure, building services and essential systems remain reliable and fully compliant. What You'll Be Doing • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site facilities and infrastructure • Supporting the maintenance of electrical systems, building services and site utilities • Conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with site standards and statutory requirements • Supporting emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and other critical site services • Managing and coordinating external contractors on maintenance and improvement projects • Assisting with site upgrades, installations and continuous improvement activities • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and general maintenance issues • Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation • Ensuring all activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures What We're Looking For • Electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent) • Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, warehousing or industrial environments • Strong electrical fault-finding and maintenance skills • Experience working with contractors and managing external suppliers • Good understanding of compliance requirements and safe systems of work • A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving • Strong communication skills and ability to work across different departments Why Join? • Monday to Friday days-based role • £43,000 salary plus benefits • Stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established business • Varied position with a mixture of hands-on engineering and compliance responsibilities • Opportunity to make a real impact on site reliability and standards • Supportive engineering team and positive working environment Whether you're currently working as a Facilities Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Maintenance Technician or Site Maintenance Engineer, we'd love to hear from you.
