We are working with a well-established consumer-facing organisation that is continuing to invest in its sustainability strategy and responsible sourcing initiatives. As part of this commitment, they are looking to appoint a Sustainability Project Manager to support the development and delivery of key sustainability programmes across their product portfolio. This role will sit within a cross-functional team responsible for coordinating sustainability initiatives, supporting reporting requirements and ensuring progress across a number of environmental and ethical workstreams.

The Sustainability Project Manager will support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects that contribute to the organisation’s wider environmental and social responsibility goals. This will involve working closely with internal teams, suppliers and external partners to ensure sustainability initiatives are effectively implemented and monitored.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of sustainability initiatives across multiple product-related workstreams
  • Coordinate projects linked to areas such as responsible sourcing, packaging, waste reduction and environmental impact
  • Manage sustainability data collection, analysis and reporting to support internal governance and external disclosures
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure sustainability targets are embedded into operational activities

  • Track project milestones, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and aligned with organisational objectives
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of sustainability strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
  • Experience working within sustainability, environmental projects or responsible sourcing initiatives
  • A relevant degree or qualification in sustainability, environmental science or a related discipline
  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to support reporting and decision-making
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis
