The Role

As QA Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day quality function on site, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of food safety, legality and quality. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the QA team, ensuring strong performance and engagement
  • Supporting the delivery of BRC and retailer standards, maintaining audit readiness at all times
  • Managing HACCP systems and quality processes
  • Driving improvements across factory standards, GMP and hygiene
  • Overseeing non-conformances, complaints and root cause analysis, ensuring robust corrective actions
  • Working closely with production teams to embed a strong food safety culture
  • Supporting audits and customer visits, acting as a key site contact
  • Using data and KPIs to identify trends and drive continuous improvement

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys being close to the factory floor, building relationships and making things better. You will have:

  • Experience in a QA or Quality leadership role within food manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP and BRC
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
