This position is for an Independent Contract Nurse to cover the entire state of Connecticut. This is a flexible contract position traveling to patient's homes to train on injection techniques. Training requests range from 1-3 a month. Complete the patient training on their schedule within our guidelines. Each training takes about 1-2 hours on average. Number of trainings will vary, depending on the number of new enrollments.
Compensation: In the spirit of transparency, this role pays $160 per patient training plus travel time ($55/hr after the first hour), mileage reimbursement, and other job-necessary expenses. This role is for an independent contractor/1099 and therefore benefits are not included.
Qualifications:
- RN license in state providing services (Connecticut)
- Carry liability insurance (can purchase at a later date)
- Driver’s license and car insurance
- Computer skills, personal computer, personal cellphone
- Exceptional communication, training and interpersonal relationship skills
