Assistive Solutions specialises in supporting individuals eligible for Disabled Students\’ Allowances within higher education.

We are a Social Enterprise that works with disabled people, providing specialist computer equipment, 1-1 teaching and have an in-house software development team.

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our small team as an ergonomic assessor covering the London area, Kent, Surrey & Brighton.

Please note this is a field-based role that requires travel and some locations are not accessible by public transport, therefore candidates must have a full driving licence and access to car.

This Position Entails:

  • Providing 1-1 ergonomic assessments for adult students with varying physical disabilities
  • Travelling to students\’ homes, assessing their existing workstations, and discussing appropriate ergonomic solutions for effective study
  • You will be required to travel across the Southwest of England on a daily basis by car (although public transportation will be considered for the right candidate)
  • Assessment locations include London area, Kent, Surrey & Brighton.

About you:

Successful candidates will be good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills and be motivated to help students access education through ergonomic solutions.

Experience working in adult social care, occupational health, health & safety, disability, or education backgrounds preferred. We will provide suitable individuals with extensive in-house training, teaching resources and methodologies for you to develop your skills and provide a high standard service to students.
