Assistive Solutions specialises in supporting individuals eligible for Disabled Students' Allowances within higher education. We are a Social Enterprise that works with disabled people, providing specialist computer equipment, 1‑1 teaching and have an in‑house software development team. About the role
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our small team as an ergonomic assessor covering the Southwest of England.
- Providing 1‑1 ergonomic assessments for adult students with varying physical disabilities
- Travelling to students' homes, assessing their existing workstations, and discussing appropriate ergonomic solutions for effective study
- You will be required to travel across the Southwest of England by car (although public transportation will be considered for the right candidate)
- Assessment locations include Devon, Dorset, and South Somerset
About you
Successful candidates will be good communicators with excellent interpersonal skills and be motivated to help students access education through ergonomic solutions. Experience working in adult social care, occupational health, health & safety, disability, or education backgrounds preferred. We can provide suitable individuals with extensive in‑house training, teaching resources and methodologies for you to develop your skills and provide a high‑standard service to students.
