Operating since 2006, we have provided personal care, companion care, and homemaker assistance. Our clients include men, women, and children of all ages. Qualifications
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- One (1) year experience in the home or long‑term care setting is preferred.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Able to utilize a smartphone‑based app.
- Punctual and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Keep our clients smiling at home by supporting their daily needs – taking initiative about companionship and engagement.
- Maintaining their health and safety at home through providing high quality personal care and monitoring their environment for safety risks.
- Follow an individualized, written Plan of Care to support our clients with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, bathing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
- Shopping, running errands, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
- Strong communication.
Hours and Schedule
Hours: Dependent on specific case(s); shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
