About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our fundraising team and play a key role in growing income through corporate partnerships and fundraising events.
Reporting to the Head of Income Generation, you will help deliver our income generation strategy by identifying and securing new supporters, developing strong business relationships and creating engaging fundraising opportunities that inspire people to support our work.
Every partnership you build and every event you deliver will help more disabled people access life-changing outdoor adventures.
Working Pattern
Hybrid working is available, with an expectation of a minimum of two days per week on-site at our Lake District base.
Occasional evening and weekend working will be required to support events and partner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop and secure new corporate partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing corporate supporters.
- Develop compelling partnership proposals aligned to the charity's funding priorities.
- Build strong relationships with local and regional businesses.
- Deliver an annual programme of fundraising events and challenge activities.
- Manage participation in third-party fundraising events, including walks, marathons, cycling events and adventure challenges.
- Support and develop our fundraising volunteer programme.
- Deliver excellent supporter stewardship to encourage long‑term engagement and support.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of the charity's wider income generation strategy.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and relationship‑focused fundraiser with experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development or account management.
You will bring excellent communication and networking skills, confidence working with external stakeholders and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Most importantly, you'll be passionate about helping disabled people access opportunities that transform lives.
