Minimum Requirements

  • 6+ months’ experience working within Doorman / licensed venues within a team and conflict management experience.
  • A valid Door Supervisor License.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to keep a calm and collective presence dealing with all situations.
  • Be responsive to the client’s needs and work in partnership with the client and other suppliers to support the delivery of the services.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, be able to make decisive decisions during incidents and difficult situations.
  • Aptitude for learning and development.
  • Professional & Personable Immaculate Presentation.
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • 5-Year recent employment / education history.

Preferred Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service and security.
  • ACT.
  • Conflict management training.
  • Emergency First Aid.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Be the first point of contact for the Venue for customers.
  • Monitor and control building entrances and exits.
  • Work within a team to ensure that venues security needs are met in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors, staff and the public under your care are in accordance with SIA licensing standards.
  • Patrols of the venue in alignment with the client’s request.
  • Observing the behaviour of visitors in the venue and maintaining the venue's code of conduct and practices and to ensure that licensing laws are upheld to prevent any criminal offences occurring.
  • Intervene with any criminal offences in an appropriate and safe manner to any visitors who create potential danger or risk to themselves or others.
  • Assist any customers / clients with any requests needed.
  • Responding to accidents / emergency situations / evacuations.
  • Defuse any disturbances and escort them off the property if necessary.
  • Maintain the security logbook and incident reports.
  • Record keeping of any issues and receipt of department keys, items loaned out to members of staff.
  • May be required to monitor security feeds and conduct daily / physical hazard inspections.
  • Conduct investigations, gather evidence, bag searches following a report of misconduct, discrepancies, or violations immediately.
  • Assist staff investigating and reporting any allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents to supervisor at designated site and to your operations manager.
  • Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documents.
