Assist Care is a 2-bed Children's Home (EBD) in Coventry specialising in trauma-informed care.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work in a residential setting, supporting children with EBD.
Salary & Hours
£12.50 – £13.50 per hour + £60 for sleep-in. (£31,700 to £33,800 including sleeps). Shift pattern: 1 on / 2 off or 2 on / 4 off, or 08am-8pm / 8pm-8am.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Right to Work in the UK
- Aged 21 and above
- UK Manual Driver’s Licence
- NVQ Level 3 or above in children’s residential care or equivalent, or willing to work towards it
- Detailed knowledge of children’s home regulations and standards
- Transferable skills relevant to a children’s home
- Flexible in working hours Monday – Sunday, including sleeps
- 1 year experience as a Residential Children’s Support Worker
- Willingness to use or learn an electronic recording system
- Willingness to partake in any training as instructed by the home
