About Us
Assist Care is a 2 bed Children's Home (EBD) in Coventry specialising in providing trauma‑informed care to children with Emotional and/or Behavioural Difficulties.
Role
Residential Support Worker - Children's Home (EBD)
Salary
£12.50 - £13.50 per hour + £60 sleep‑in. (£31,700 to £33,800 including sleeps).
Shift pattern
1 on / 2 off or 2 on / 4 off or 08am to 8pm or 8pm to 8am.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Must have a valid Right To Work in the UK.
- Must be aged 21 and above.
- Must hold UK Manual Drivers Licence.
- Have NVQ Level 3 or above in children's residential care or equivalent or willing to work towards.
- Detailed knowledge of the children's home regulations and standards.
- Evidence of having transferable skills that you can bring to our children's home.
- Must be fully flexible in working hours Monday - Sunday, including sleeps.
- Residential Children's Support Worker: 1 year.
- Ability to use or willing to learn and embrace the use of electronic recording system.
- Be willing to partake in any training as instructed by the home.
