At Assetz Capital, one of the UK’s leading property finance providers for SME housebuilders, we’re looking for a commercially minded, ambitious individual to join us as a Business Development Executive. In this role, you’ll use your knowledge of housing to connect property developers, from smaller refurbishment players to regional builders with tailored finance solutions. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their plans, listen to their challenges, and help them secure the funding they need to bring exciting new projects to life.

This is more than just a sales role; it’s an opportunity to make a real impact in the property development sector while building a successful, long-term career with a growing business.

  • Ideal for someone with a proven track record in housing sales who is eager to transition into a client-facing, relationship-driven role with opportunities for growth.
  • Instead of chasing the next instruction or sale, you’ll help shape much bigger outcomes, giving property developers and SMEs the funding that drives the whole project.
  • You’ll have the freedom to manage your own market, backed by resources, brand and expertise of a national lender.
  • Your inside knowledge of the property world, coupled with strong negotiation and people skills, will help you open doors and turn contacts into long-term partners.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Proactively reach out to SME developers, land agents, architects, contractors and construction supply chain in your area to create and qualify new leads.
  • Make the most of your existing contacts and keep adding to them, so you’re first to hear about new upcoming projects.
  • Represent Assetz at property events, exhibitions and construction-related networking sessions to grow our profile and expand your reach.
  • Keep on top of market trends, pricing shifts and development opportunities to know where the next deals come from.
  • Work closely with our Relationship Directors across the region to match developers with the right finance solution.
  • Build and nurture lasting partnerships with developers, introducers and industry players.

About You:

  • Background in housing, property sales (estate agency, land & new homes, or similar developer-facing roles), structural warranty sales, architecture or construction contracting.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, grow networks, and build pipelines.
  • A strong network in the development and new build sector, or the drive and hustle to build one quickly.
  • Commercially savvy with a sound understanding of the housing market, construction and property finance.
  • Looking for more variety, bigger impact, and the chance to earn beyond traditional estate agency limits.
  • Full clean UK Driving license as travel may be required.

What we offer:

  • Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 with uncapped commission (OTE £90K+).
  • Initially based in Manchester office, may require some travel, will also consider strong candidates in Yorkshire, Midlands, London, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
  • 26 days holiday, rising to 28 + bank holidays + birthday leave.
  • Private medical insurance, medical cash plan, life cover 4x salary.
  • Home office loan, Cycle to work scheme, free onsite parking & gym.
  • Regular company updates and social events.
