ROLE TYPE: Permanent, Full Time
LOCATION: North London
HOURS/DAYS (per week): Mon - Fri (5 days per week), Office-based until probation is completed, then view for hybrid working (performance-dependant).
SALARY RANGE: £50,000 per annum + benefits (negotiable depending on experience)

My client are a small to medium-sized firm of Chartered Accountants, whose Head Office is located in North London. With over 35 staff throughout their London offices and a large outsourced team internationally, this firm are looking to make a couple of crucial hires as they continue to scale and professionally service their long-standing and loyal client base to the highest of standards. JOB ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
- The successful candidate will share the ambitious and entrepreneurial mind set of the owners and work together to expand their services and provide new integration of apps to support the client's individual needs.
- Have experience of working in practice (preferably 3 years +) along with experience of using cloud software, preferably certified with Xero.
- A confident leader who enjoys networking and development of new business.
- Energetic self-starter who is happy to take responsibility with excellent time management and organisation skills, and someone who is comfortable working to deadlines with excellent IT skills.
- Managing a varied range of clients including sole traders, limited companies, partnerships and groups.
- Reviewing the work performed by other junior team members.
- Providing training and support to new and existing team members as needed within the firm.
- Work and plan to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the development of the overall business.
- Preparation of management accounts for a diverse range of clients.
- Preparation of working papers to support the management accounts Xero projects including training clients and migrations assisting clients to design systems and processes and automate wherever possible.
- Should have experience with automation tools and apps such as Hubdoc, autoentry, Soldo along with good Excel skills.
- Liaising with HMRC with regards to VAT and CIS matters assisting junior members of the team with software and accounting treatment queries.
- Work closely with the partners in driving the business forward.
ANY SPECIFIC TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Hold either have an ICAEW or ACCA qualification.
- Should be competent on Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
- Have experience working within a busy public practice (preferably 3 years plus).
- Preferably Certified with Xero.
- Display unquestionable integrity, excellent verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrate strong logical and analytical skills.
