- Strengthening financial controls, reconciliations and reporting discipline
- Oversight and leadership of a junior finance team
- Budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis
- Acting as a trusted finance partner to the CEO and senior stakeholders
The role is intentionally flexible and can develop from Financial Controller into a broader Finance Director remit over time.
The person: You must be:
- Qualified
- Experienced in the UK insurance sector
- Comfortable operating in a growing, less structured business
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to lead and improve
This role suits someone who enjoys building capability rather than inheriting a finished finance function.
