Our client, a very well established and successful financial planning firm, is recruiting for Paraplanners at all levels of experience to join their ambitious team that’s passionate about providing independent impartial financial advice. Our client offers training and qualification support and provides opportunities for career progression, enabling their employees to achieve their career aspirations by gaining professional training and qualifications, or growing and nurturing their own portfolio of clients.
We are looking for candidates who already have some background in Paraplanning. You will be part of our client’s Paraplanning team supporting their highly qualified team of IFA’s and responsible for delivering high quality reports. There is potential to progress into an IFA role for the right individuals, and if this is your desired career path however they are more than open to the idea of a career Paraplanner, which in turn offers its own rewards.
Responsibilities / Key Requirements
- You will have good report writing skills with the ability to conduct research in connection with protection, investment and pre/post retirement planning.
- You should have experience in supporting advisers with a range of tasks, including correspondence with product providers and clients, researching products and writing suitability reports, as well as providing support to other members of a paraplanning team.
- You will also be a good communicator and have a working knowledge of the financial services industry across the full range of investments, pensions, retirement solutions, trusts and both personal and business protection.
Qualifications
You should be at or well on the way towards Level 4 diploma status.
