The European Sales Lead at Asset Reality is responsible for driving government-facing sales and contracting across Europe. This role is hands-on, focused on converting warm opportunities, managing senior stakeholders through procurement, and guiding prospects to close, with the support of relevant team members. As demand grows, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead the European sales team.
The Role
You will engage with government bodies and senior stakeholders introduced to you by our marketing and business development teams or who you meet at conferences and events. As the first and only end-to-end platform for seized assets, you won’t be up against any like-for-like competition. Instead, your challenge will be helping these prospects grasp who we are, what we do, and guiding them through the challenges they face and how we solve them. To do this you will need to lead with curiosity during discovery and qualification phases to establish the prospect’s pain points and current operations. We strongly believe the client should clearly articulate a problem before we try to present a solution.
You will build rapport and identify champions and economic buyers to verify support, scale of the opportunity and budget availability. Once you qualify the deal, you will guide our prospects through the demo, pitch and contracting stages, pulling in relevant team members to support as required. The role requires both strategic vision and execution, with a focus on high-probability, high-value opportunities. In our experience our properly qualified clients become advocates within their region generating new word-of-mouth referrals and so early velocity will generate additional organic momentum.
Success in this role is measured by delivering market saturation in your territory on our path to becoming the global asset recovery operating system. As well as being an integral part of the wider sales team, you’ll be working closely with our customer enablement manager to support the smooth transition of the customer-sales relationship to the customer-CS relationship. Our customer enablement manager will sit in on your sales call to really get to know the prospect and to tell their story to our CS team when the deal closes.
Responsibilities
- Own the sales lifecycle: Take leads from the BD team, lead discovery and qualification, deliver demos, draft proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals.
- Manage senior stakeholders: Build trust and awareness across accounts, ensuring the right people are involved early in the process.
- Qualify aggressively: Focus on high-probability, high-value opportunities; remove unqualified leads from the pipeline.
- Navigate complexity: Work with clients’ legal and compliance teams, especially in the public sector, to keep deals moving.
- Map solutions to client needs: Understand pain points and align Asset Reality’s offering without overselling.
