Senior Vice President / Principal – Emerging Markets Investing (London)

Asset Partners is exclusively mandated by our client, a leading private equity fund, to appoint a Vice President or Principal to join their London-based investment team, focusing on high-growth companies across emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute investments across emerging markets, from origination through to portfolio management.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, due diligence, and market assessment to support investment decisions.
• Partner closely with management teams of portfolio companies to drive strategic and operational value creation.
• Contribute to sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years’ experience in a relevant field (e.g. investment banking, consulting, growth equity, or private equity), including at least 5+ years of direct investing experience.
• Strong investment judgment and analytical capabilities — both quantitative and qualitative.
• Advanced technical and financial modelling skills.
• Proven track record in growth/private equity investing.
• Outstanding academic background – First Class or 2:1 degree (or international equivalent).
• Highly entrepreneurial, resourceful, and independent-minded.
• Growth mindset with intellectual curiosity and drive to succeed.
• This is a long‑term track position offering significant career progression.
