Asset Partners is exclusively mandated by a private equity fund to appoint a Chief Financial Officer to join its senior leadership team in London. The CFO will oversee finance across the fund structures and the advisory group, supporting the continued growth of the firm.
The Role
- Lead the finance function across fund entities and the advisory group
- Own accounting, tax, financial reporting and internal controls
- Oversee quarterly valuations, investor reporting and fund audits
- Present financial performance to senior leadership and investors
- Maintain budgeting, forecasting and financial policy frameworks
- Manage relationships with administrators, auditors, tax advisers and legal counsel
- Ensure accurate accounting treatment of investments and transactions
- Monitor fund performance, returns and portfolio financial metrics
- Support transaction execution, due diligence and structuring
- Contribute to governance across group entities and participate in boards where required
- Develop and mentor finance staff
- Lead financial structuring for new funds and entities
Candidate Profile
- Qualified accountant with senior finance experience in private equity, venture capital or a related private markets environment
- Strong expertise across fund accounting, valuations, tax, audit and investor reporting
- Highly organised, detail-driven and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communicator with the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office
