A leading private equity fund focused exclusively on the healthcare sector is looking to hire an Investment Associate to join its growing team. The firm invests across a broad range of healthcare subsectors, partnering with management teams to build high-quality, scalable businesses. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with strong deal flow and significant exposure to the full investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a key member of the investment team, supporting senior professionals across the end-to-end deal process
- Source, screen, and evaluate new investment opportunities across the healthcare landscape
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, modelling, and commercial assessment
- Participate in due diligence processes, including coordination with external advisors
- Support the execution of transactions from initial review through to completion
- Contribute to portfolio management, including performance monitoring and strategic initiatives
- Build relationships with management teams, intermediaries, and industry stakeholders
The role is designed to provide balanced exposure, with responsibilities split across sourcing, deal execution, and portfolio management.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or growth equity
- Prior experience or strong exposure to the healthcare sector
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commercial judgement and curiosity
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-starting attitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Outstanding academic record from a leading university
- Ideally holds a degree in medicine, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline
