The Role
This is a senior sales leadership opportunity within a leading UK Asset Finance business, responsible for driving regional growth, leading high‑performing sales teams and developing strategic client and partner relationships. Reporting to the Managing Director, Asset Finance Sales, you will lead business development activity across the Midlands, North West and Wales regions while contributing to the wider strategic growth and transformation of the Asset Finance proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop office and field‑based sales teams
- Drive new business growth across Asset Finance products and solutions
- Manage key internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Support product development and wider business transformation initiatives
- Build and maintain strong intermediary, broker and client networks
- Drive product penetration and cross‑sell opportunities across the wider banking group
- Deliver against financial and non‑financial performance objectives
- Support team development, coaching and succession planning
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within Asset Finance essential
- Proven sales leadership or team management capability
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercially aware with strong credit and financial analysis capability
- Strong presentation and influencing skills
- Passion for people development and client service excellence
- Experience operating within commercial banking or structured finance environments advantageous
