New Leaf Search is partnering with a European organisation providing business-to-business lease finance for digital services in its search for a Business Development Manager – Public Sector Technology Finance.
Location: UK, London (Hybrid).
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth across the UK Public Sector, delivering innovative technology finance, leasing and as-a-service solutions that support digital transformation and technology investment. Working closely with the Head of TMF UK & Ireland, you’ll identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across Central Government, Local Government, NHS Trusts, education, emergency services and other public sector organisations. A key focus of the role will be winning business through established procurement frameworks, competitive tenders and strategic technology partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities across the UK Public Sector
- Develop relationships with government departments, local authorities, NHS Trusts, universities and other public sector organisations
- Lead framework call-offs, competitive tenders and ITT submissions from qualification through to contract award
- Build strategic partnerships with technology vendors, framework providers and channel partners
- Structure technology finance, leasing and subscription-based funding solutions
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting and achieve revenue, margin and growth targets
- Attend industry events and represent the business across the Public Sector market
- Work closely with bid, commercial, legal and operational teams to deliver successful customer outcomes
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record of winning new business within the UK Public Sector
- Strong experience securing contracts through procurement frameworks and competitive tender processes
- Excellent knowledge of CCS, G-Cloud, NHS SBS, Digital Marketplace and other Public Sector procurement routes
- Experience selling technology finance, leasing, managed services, digital transformation or related solutions
- Strong commercial, financial and negotiation skills
- Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated with a demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets
- Established network of Public Sector contacts highly advantageous
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing. Relevant in-country experience is required; applications without it will not be considered.
