To c.£125,000 pa plus car allowance and excellent bonus potential. Our client is a major provider of funding solutions to the UK SME community. As it continues to grow, it is keen to appoint a strong sales manager to drive the sales strategy and performance of an internal and externally-based sales team.

The Role

  • Design and execution of a sales strategy to increase the quality and quantity of new asset finance business through a network of specialist finance brokers.
  • Training, motivation and coaching of an internal and external sales team to ensure that stretching new business volume and growth objectives are achieved.
  • Working closely with the credit, risk and operational leadership team to improve the customer journey and ensure that the new business generated is in line with objectives.
  • Representing the company with key introducers and at industry events and forums.

The Candidate

  • A proven sales leader with several years of managing sales teams in asset finance, commercial banking, invoice finance or another area of business lending.
  • Strong in sales strategy and able to recruit, coach and motivate a high-performing sales team.
  • A strong and charismatic leader who can represent the sales initiatives and efforts at Board level.
  • Strong analytical skills and able to challenge credit underwriting decisions when appropriate.
