James George Recruitment is working with a leading bank-owned equipment finance provider, part of one of Europe's largest banking groups, to recruit an Internal Relationship Manager for their Asset Finance team sales team in South West London on an 18-month contract.
This is a sales-focused, mainly office-based role. You'll look after vendor, dealer and broker partners on small and mid-ticket business, and take deals end to end, from quote through credit and documents to payout. You'll report to the Sales Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Managing introducer and customer relationships through regular calls
- Acting as main contact for small and mid-ticket deals
- Following up leads, negotiating pricing and closing sales
- Owning deals from quote to payout
- Qualifying deals and preparing credit proposals
- Positioning value-added products such as ORV, staged payments and structured profiles
- Passing leads to and working with the Business Development Manager
- Keeping sales pipeline and reporting tools up to date
About you
- Sales experience in asset finance and leasing
- Comfortable on the phone building and growing relationships
- Good credit awareness and attention to detail
- Well organised and able to juggle a busy pipeline
- A team player who wants to grow within a major lender
