Our client is a well-established and award winning bank who are keen to appoint an experienced Relationship Manager within their Development Finance team. The successful candidate will:
- Build, manage and deepen relationships with a portfolio of high‑value landlords.
- Provide consistent, proactive support, engaging around maturities, refinancing, additional borrowing and key portfolio events.
- Conduct comprehensive portfolio reviews, considering all loans secured on properties.
- Use maturity insights to identify and recommend opportunities to migrate lending from competitors.
- Work with Operations to deliver efficient, coordinated customer journeys.
- Identify wider opportunities across residential and commercial development, referring to Development Finance where appropriate.
- Collaborate with Intermediaries when needed to support landlord requirements.
- Provide feedback on criteria, pricing and risk to internal stakeholders.
- Partner with Credit and Risk to structure proposals aligned with risk appetite and regulation.
- Share market and customer insights to inform future BTL propositions.
- Maintain accurate records of the portfolio, including pipelines, maturities, outcomes and interactions.
- Ensure all activity supports good customer outcomes and aligns with conduct expectations.
- Represent Paragon’s values and service standards in all customer interactions.
The successful candidate will be commercially focussed and demonstrate experience managing complex customer portfolios in finance services, property lending, private banking or wealth management. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company during an exciting period of growth.
