James George Recruitment are working exclusively with a Tier 1 Funder, in their search for a Qualified Finance Manager. You will manage and lead the legal entity in all aspects of business and financial planning, control, and project/program management. As a subject matter expert, you will ensure alignment with finance and control policies to enable effective and efficient organisational leadership and optimise business results.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Finance Leadership: Provide strategic financial guidance and leadership to the organisation, ensuring robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. You will be managing a Finance team of 5 people.
- Business Partnering: Act as a true business partner to key stakeholders within the local business, across the wider Group, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
- Financial Control: Oversee financial control mechanisms to ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and to safeguard the organisation’s assets.
- Project Management: Lead and manage financial aspects of projects and programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Performance Optimisation: Challenge the business where necessary to drive performance improvements and optimise business results.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to provide insights and support decision-making processes, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organisation.

- Team player adept at liaising/interacting within a large complex organisation with colleagues at different levels and from different disciplines. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Inspires and builds trust, and enthusiasm in colleagues and team.

Experience:
- You will have a minimum of five years’ experience (post professional qualification) managing a Finance team in a commercial setting
- Experience of working in asset finance advantageous
- Experience of working within a large multinational business an advantage

- UK driving license
