Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high standard of individualised care to patients, acting as a role model.
  • Support the NIC, Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in driving quality care provision forward.
  • Be responsible for standards of cleanliness in their own clinical area in partnership with the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse.
  • Provide clear clinical leadership to junior staff, supporting the Junior Sister and deputising for the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in her/his absence.
