Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Day Shift (Mon-Fri) Turner Programmer Setter Operator. The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNC Turner, able to read and programme in Fanuc. Experience of using Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head machines will be an advantage.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- CNC Turning / Machine Programming / Setting and Operating
- Programming primarily using Fanuc
- Manufacturing components to tight tolerances
- Operating Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines
- Setting and operating 5 axis machines
- Using Live Tooling for Milled features
- Maintain and managing own supply of consumables
- Interpreting and working to Engineering drawings
- Time served apprenticeship in CNC Turning
- Demonstrable post apprenticeship experience in a similar CNC turning and Programming / Setting and Operating role
- Experience programming and setting twin spindle lathes
- Ability to read and program using Fanuc
- Able to interpret engineering drawings
- Able to use FeatureCam software / HNC, HND or similar
- Experience setting and operating 5-axis machines
- Ability to program and set Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines
- Experience using live tooling for milled features
37 Hour week / Day Shift: Monday to Thursday, Friday / £39,500 PA + Overtime + Competitive benefits, inc. 30 Days paid Holidays + Bank Holidays
