Based at their Tadcaster technical hub—a centre of excellence for research and bespoke fabrication—they specialise in technologically advanced designs for the UK’s most ambitious construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are recruiting an experienced Mechanically biased Maintenance Technician to produce precision components and full-scale prototypes. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Continuity: Execute comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance strategies across complex plant assets and multi-site facilities.
- Technical Diagnosis: Utilise schematics and data reports to identify root causes of equipment failure, implementing robust solutions to minimise downtime.
- Systems Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend design modifications and refine operating procedures for enhanced machine reliability.
- Safety & Compliance: Manage service schedules and material procurement while upholding the highest standards of site-wide safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Qualified to (ONC/HNC level) in a relevant Engineering discipline, with demonstrable strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with fluid power systems (hydraulics/pneumatics) would be advantageous.
- Competency in operating conventional workshop machinery and a comfortable approach to working at height.
- A proactive professional capable of managing deadlines and coordinating resources independently.
- Electrical maintenance experience would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
DETAILS OF PACKAGE
Circa £38,000 + Bonus (circa £40,000 inc. bonus) + OT Benefits / Day Shift: 38 Hour week. Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm / Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm / 25 days Paid holiday + Bank Holidays.
