Due to continued growth, they are recruiting an experienced Mechanically Biased Maintenance Technician to produce precision components and full-scale prototypes. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Continuity: Execute comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance strategies across complex plant assets and multi-site facilities.
- Technical Diagnosis: Utilise schematics and data reports to identify root causes of equipment failure, implementing robust solutions to minimise downtime.
- Systems Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend design modifications and refine operating procedures for enhanced machine reliability.
- Safety & Compliance: Manage service schedules and material procurement while upholding the highest standards of site-wide safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Qualified to (ONC/HNC level) in a relevant Engineering discipline, with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with fluid power systems (hydraulics/pneumatics) would be advantageous.
- Competency in operating conventional workshop machinery and a comfortable approach to working at height.
- A proactive professional capable of managing deadlines and coordinating resources independently.
Attributes:
- A solution-focused "can-do" attitude with a deep commitment to Quality and Health & Safety.
- Some basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous, but not essential.
DETAILS OF PACKAGE
Circa £38,000 + Bonus (circa £40,000 inc. bonus) + Benefits / Day Shift: 38 hrs. Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.00pm / Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm / 25 days Paid holiday + Bank Holidays
