Based at their Tadcaster technical hub—a centre of excellence for research and bespoke fabrication—they specialise in technologically advanced designs for the UK’s most ambitious construction projects. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Continuity: Execute comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance strategies across complex plant assets and multi-site facilities.
- Technical Diagnosis: Utilise schematics and data reports to identify root causes of equipment failure, implementing robust solutions to minimise downtime.
- Systems Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend design modifications and refine operating procedures for enhanced machine reliability.
- Safety & Compliance: Manage service schedules and material procurement while upholding the highest standards of site-wide safety protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Technical Foundations: Formally qualified (ONC/HNC level) in a relevant Engineering discipline, with a strong electrical bias and supporting mechanical knowledge.
- Industrial Expertise: Proven background in high-output, lean manufacturing environments, including experience with fluid power systems (hydraulics/pneumatics).
- Tooling Proficiency: Competency in operating conventional workshop machinery and a comfortable approach to working at height.
- Project Delivery: A proactive professional capable of managing deadlines and coordinating resources independently under pressure.
- Attributes: A solution-focused "can-do" attitude with a deep commitment to Quality and Health & Safety.
